Nemours Biomolecular Core Laboratory Nemours

The mission of the Biomolecular Core Laboratory (BCL) is to support research and discovery by improving access and stimulating the use of emerging technologies by researchers, clinicians and students. The BCL is integrated with other core labs in the Delaware Valley through the IDeA Network for Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE) network, which enhances leveraging of regional resources. The BCL is supported by grants P30GM114736 (COBRE) and P20GM103446 (INBRE). Please include these citations in any publication/presentation of data generated by the BCL statff. The BCL operates under strict CLIA guidelines and offers low-cost, fast-turnaround, high-quality services in biotechnologies that support both clinical and hypothesis driven genetic projects. Services are available in Sanger sequencing, real time PCR, Microarray, digital PCR, and Next Generation Sequencing (WES, gene panel, 16S RNA gene sequencing). The BCL staff offer free consultations on project design, data troubleshooting, as well as help for budget preparation and letter of support for grant applications.
